Articles are published using WordPress. The design was modified from a WordPress theme by Karsten Kuhnen. In addition to the nearly standard Akismet, Google XML Sitemaps, and WordPress Database Backup plugins, mickerlodeon uses several excellent WordPress plugins, including Benjamin Stein’s BirdFeeder for WordPress, Michael D. Adams’ No Self Pings, and Stephen Granade’s WP FancyZoom.

Stats are tracked using Mint. RSS feeds are read using Shaun Inman’s Fever.

Web Standards

mickerlodeon adheres to web standards. mickerlodeon’s HTML markup should validate as XHTML 1.1, its layout uses valid CSS, and its syndicated feed is valid RSS.

If mickerlodeon looks a little weird in your browser you’re probably using Internet Explorer (or some other awful or out-of-date browser). If you complain about this I will simply reply with a download link to Firefox. However, if you are using a modern standards compliant browser and are still having trouble viewing or reading mickerlodeon, please let me know.
